How It Works
Setting up your virtual visits is easy! We'll start with a free 15-minute introductory chat to get acquainted and learn about your interests. Then, simply schedule a 30-minute or 60-minute virtual visit whenever it's convenient for you!
We'll meet face-to-face using Zoom, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, Google Meet, or another video calling option that works for you. And if you're new to video calling, we can start with a phone call, and I'll be happy to help you get connected!
Each visit is personalized just for you, whether we're chatting over coffee, sharing stories, playing games, or exploring somewhere new.
And for family members who would appreciate an update, visit summaries are always complimentary with client permission!

I'm an educator, writer, storyteller, and lifelong learner with a passion for connecting with people and discovering their stories!
I have a Master’s Degree in Anthropology, and I've spent more than 25 years teaching and tutoring people of all ages. I have homeschooled both of my children and they are now in college doing amazing things!
I love reading, writing, exploring historical places, and traveling to new destinations. I'm also a lifelong horse enthusiast, an animal lover, and a big fan of Disney and Universal Studios!
I created Monty & Milly because I believe good company, interesting conversations, and new adventures should be something we can enjoy at every age. And with so many people in the world, there is no reason for anyone to feel lonely or bored. Whether we're reminiscing, exploring something new, or simply chatting over coffee, I look forward to getting to know you and hearing your stories, too!

Do I need to know how to use Zoom?

Not at all! We can always start with a phone call, and I can help you (or your family member) figured out the easiest way to connect by video, whether it’s Zoom or another platform.
Do I have to choose an activity?

No! There is no pressure to do any specific thing when we meet. We could just chat and enjoy a great conversation! Each visit can be different, too. So one day we can chat, another day I can read you a book, and maybe the next time we play a game!
Can I schedule visits for my loved one?

Absolutely! Family members are welcome to arrange visits for a loved one. Feel free to email me any questions, and if you prefer, we can have the free 15-minute call to arrange all the details!
Is Monty & Milly a medical or caregiving service?

No. Monty & Milly is a virtual companionship service focused on conversation, connection, and fun! I'm not a licensed healthcare or caregiving professional, and I don't provide medical care, counseling, or supervision. My visits are simply an opportunity to enjoy good company, share stories, and have something wonderful to look forward to!
